Pros

I work in a nice office building. The insurance paid for my BRCA Genetic Testing. The pay is fair and seems appropriate for the job.

Cons

Terrible benefits and time-off, with a lot of lip-service paid to work/life balance. The only holidays are New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. No Christmas Eve or the day after Thanksgiving. There is a top-down culture of micro-managing and inefficiency. Our mission and duties are constantly changing, and the corporate leaders can't seem to agree.

Pros

Mostly good people, I really don't have anything else to say here.

Cons

Low pay, downsizing, outdated equipment, lack of transparency, no room for growth.

Pros

TEGNA is now one of the largest television-related employers out there. Because of it, you'll have a lot of mobility.

Cons

Unfortunately, because of its size - TEGNA has access to a vast talent pool of young workers. They don't need to pay people anything because the large market stations can pluck from their small markets.
