      Not a great place to continue your career in TV

      Pros

      I worked for WHAS specifically, but they put out applications at "TEGNA" I can't think of any real pros to working there other than that you will get an insight into how a bottom tier station is managed.

      Cons

      Awful management both local and national. Corporate it seems cares more about turning a profit than making a good newscast. They also have a policy where they pay new employees less than what their immediate predecessor made.

      There are some very intelligent and fun folks working at Cofactor Casual dress environment Beer cooler Thursday/Fridays Company parties Free catered lunch Tuesdays

      NO work/life balance Pay is below market value Management does not listen to workers when they ask them for feedback Company is losing valuable people left and right
