Pros

Immediate team is good if you land a good manager Decent pay Paid Weekly Super Flexible with vacation time Quarterly Bonus Hires management from within Good tech equipment to use

Cons

Communication is horrible No longer work from home 2 days a week unless you’ve been with the company for 5 years, and you get 1 day wfh if you’ve been with the company for 6 months No talks of raises even though some of us have to come in 5 days a week now Promised a raise once I got promoted to Sr. BOA and was told that I started at the max so I was not going to get a raise anymore Training was hard to get through Heavy workload

Pros

-Extremely diverse workforce -Extremely favorable working conditions that promote a healthy work/life balance and a growth-oriented atmosphere -Decent pay, at least considering my lack of experience and "non-traditional" CS background

Cons

-Lack of available entry or junior level projects means you may be sitting "on the bench" for a very long time. -While "on the bench", you will end up doing mostly nothing but taking Udemy courses and working on certifications and other "professional development" trainings. I personally think it's great that the company is so willing to invest in us to pay us full-time for this; however on the other hand I feel as though employers and clients value project experience over certs, so this really only may be marginally helpful. Furthermore, as beneficial as it may be, it simply gets tedious after too long when all I want to do is write code.
