      Good Experience to Learn but Comes w Burnout

      Pros

      Great first job out of college or in a recruiting role, if you have no recruiting experience. You learn how to source, hold yourself professionally, learn about tech, the recruiting lifecycle, and negotiate. You're also able to help people get jobs that feels really good and fulfilling. After this job, you feel like you can get any job of how fast-paced the environment is and how many hats you wear.

      Cons

      It's so easy to burn yourself out because the team really pushes you to hit goals, fill roles, keep sourcing, and it's hard to set boundaries with when to stop working. There are also things that happen behind the scene when filling roles that seem shady. The benefits aren't great. You can make a lot of money but takes time to ramp up and by the time you ramp up, you're way too burnt out on the job.

      Recruiting company. Majority openings are for low-pay contract work at client companies. Little to no contact or support from Teksystems representatives.
