They will train you well in your areas of the business. In my case, I learned a great deal about contract management for which I am grateful. Other fringe benefits include weekly pay, flexible schedule (9 hour days), annual raises (these are usually below 3%), and frequent lunches.
Cons
TEK takes chances on a lot of people from retail backgrounds. They find good managers in these fields who are willing to work for a lower salary in a corporate office environment. These folks face vague criticisms about their leadership. This happens because the company holds frequent meetings with varying levels of leadership where they talk about each employees soft skills. By the time this "feedback" is relayed back to the employee it has become a game of telephone where you have to ask "where is this coming from?" The company seems to pick winners and groom them for promotions, while stonewalling other employees with "questions about their (insert any soft skill)." I was always an average performer and I had zero progress towards promotion. Some of the MOS and SMOS can behave unprofessionally and seem to foster gossip. I have seen little success with external hires for management level positions. If you are not looking at TEK for an entry level position, I would advise you to look at more reviews for the Hanover, MD location specifically.
