Cons
You are lied to on commission. You make 1% off your commission and in today’s market you will never be successful no matter how hard you work. There is extreme favoritism in the office so unless you suck up for your entire career you will go nowhere. I tried complaining about the culture and was told it will never change. Average turnover for a recruiter was 4 months. You will often get cursed out for mistakes that were not yours. There is little to no advancement for a recruiter. I was scolded for having a life outside of work and not often staying past working hours that were unpaid. Any time I had to take off for being sick or had an appointment I was asked 20 questions in detail. Benefits are so bad it’s a waste of time. You will be looked at as a number that is replaceable not a person of value.
