      Senior consultants beware

      Pros

      Sales team is very active and has many locations across the country. Good chance in a down market to find employment as a contractor in a individual contributor role as technician.

      Cons

      Finding opportunities at senior levels (PM / Solution Lead) is limited and is typically up to the individual. My handler (Account Rep) either was incompetent or deliberately tried to skim more of my negotiated rate for the company and forced an ugly confrontation with the client. Benefits were poor. The permanent position was just as transient as a 1099 employee. There was no bench time.

      Pros

      There are many advancement oppurtunites, when the company is not facing an economic dowturn. It has a pretty relaxed atmosphere with pretty good people to work with.

      Cons

      Right now they are being hit hard by the economy and facing layoffs. You have to be very people oriented or you will not last long as the company is based on building relationships.

      Pros

      Great ethical and moral values, care about the people, put equal focus on providing the best service to the clients and the consultants. Good internal compensation for top performers, overall a great company to work for. People are giving many chances to succeed, unlike most sales environments, if you are not succeeding you are automatically fired, you are given the time and training and encouragement to try to improve. Sometimes this is almost a weakness because people who are not performing at the top levels may be kep around longer than they should be in a sales organization. Great people internally to work with.

      Cons

      The Micromanagement is too much at times.
