      Tedious Environment, it should not be this difficult

      Pros

      Provides entry level positions that give people the opportunity to gain knowledge within the job field.

      Cons

      The communication from corporate is lacking, getting anything done in a timely manner is harder than it should be. When resolution is required, the standard no response is provided. Understanding of what the focus and direction that the company is taking does not get disseminated to the work force. If you are looking for something fast paced or to move with a more rapid pulse, this is not where you want to be. Opinions or inputs from employees to staff that are unaware or lacking knowledge for the environment is frustrating. The phrase out of sight and out of mind sums up the way I feel as an employee. It’s all about putting a person in a seat.

      Pros

      Direct deposit, Recruiter took me out to lunch a couple times.

      Cons

      Contract was for 6 months and then I would be hired by employer if I was a good fit. The job and my work was exceptional and I would be hired when the employer could hire me. The 6 months completed, but the company could not hire me until the next year. My original agreement was 5 personal days off. After the 6 months was completed, I asked TekSystems for paid holidays and accrued PTO. I was told no, that I would only be paid for Holidays. I was very disappointed to say the least. So I had no PTO days. If I was sick, I would not be paid. I explained that I had worked the 6 months with only 5 days of PTO. My recruiter and manager did not care one bit,

      It’s a job with a paycheck.

      Cons

      You’re just a warm body that generates revenue off billable hours. There is zero support if you wind up in a situation with a bad client.
