      An ok job. Not what one would expect from a top employer

      Pros

      Good benefit coverage like pension, dental, or health. Telus has a solid reputation as a company in the community. There was some variety in daily work and there were efforts at engaging everyone from the bottom up to contribute time to community service and charities.

      Cons

      Salary was not competitive with industry standard. Weak on internal promotions or professional development. Senior management does not communicate well and there is a lack cohesiveness within the different business units. Union and management conflict is time consuming and ineffective.

      Pros

      The people who work there (coworkers) are really a great bunch of people. It is too bad management treats tier 1 like dirt.

      Cons

      The department I work for, is a call center in montreal. It is run by people who used to manage a Telemarketing company and they treat the employees like sweatshop workers. You are chained to your desk.

      good training opportunities transparency from management they listen to frontline management listens to employee concerns and does something very employee-oriented fun place to work with treats employees as humans with needs not as robots HR is doing a good job good vision and long term goals Telus international university for undergrads is helping a lot - u can get a degree from Univeristy of asia and the pacific and la salle at an affordable and convenient means! no issues with accuracy and transparency of pay and benefits friendly culture and environment world class facilities like gym, videoke, pantry, shuttle promotes work-life balance unlimited text and call between employees + communications allowance very involved with community events

      Cons

      meager pay does not acknowledge tenure in pay increase politics and favoritism are happening but not very obvious
