      Pros

      Benefits are very good. People who work there are great, excellent teamwork. Management is very upbeat and communicates alot. All H R functions have been automated and e-enabled so it makes getting info very fast and easy. Pay is very good, especially if you over produce. Excellent community spirit. There are also discounts for cell and home phone services. Also have discounts for everything from tires to travel to insurance to leases as an employee.

      Cons

      Its a very big place...over 32000 people. Sometimes it can feel impersonal so its up to you to make the effort. Processes are sometimes frustrating.

      Cool place to work especially if you like change.

      Pros

      Cool company with cool services and a leader in the industry. Good people who work hard. Team work is encouraged. Events are held to promote sociallizing and fun. Opportunity to work from home or offices closer to home.

      Cons

      Too much demand and too little supply of resources. The work seems to never decrease and yet the number of people we have to do the work seems to decrease. Hiring freezes are the norm and it is difficult to replace when people leave. Being part of a large corporation does slow down our ability to deliver quick innovative solutions as we get bogged down in process and paperwork. We need to make use of some of the technology that we sell.

      Pros

      Growth company, good benefits, lots of opportunity to have several different careers within the same company. If you what to develop yourself, TELUS will pay for your education.

      Cons

      Large corporation can be impersonal and political at times. The forced distribution performance rating system is somewhat disatisfying, particularly if you work in a high performing group.
