Pros

Was my first "real" job, worked on and off for almost 3 years...Great for part-time employment. I loved my managers even though I sometimes felt under-appreciated. They were very understanding about personal situations and make you feel like family in a way.

Cons

Unless you are working towards a management positions it isn't a career job.

Pros

It's easy and you'll make some pocket change.

Cons

It's boring and there isn't much to do. You are assigned a department that takes little to no effort to clean, since you are not required to organize clothes by color or style. So long as all the sizes are grouped together, it can be "hashed" which is a word the company uses to excuse why their stores look like crap. If you work the night shift, just know that you won't get off when you are scheduled to, because everyone who works that night must leave together, regardless if you are ready or not. Surprisingly, even with the lack of things to do, you will still find lazy associates who will try to pawn their responsibilities off on you. This is a job for people who don't really want to work hard but want some extra cash, has already retired from a career or is still in school and hasn't started one yet. Don't work here if you are looking for a challenge. Better yet, only work here if you honestly have exhausted every other option.
