Pros

Director and below staff work hard and make the org run

Cons

Leadership makes poor choices and let’s more junior staff take the fall. I would not recommend this org to anyone

Great benefits, management questionable

Pros

Great coworkers and benefits. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Benefits were also fantastic.

Cons

Management in my department constantly in flux, had 3 VPs in 3 years (one each year). This did not help my chances at advancing. Voiced multiple times that I had the hunger for growth in my role, but fell on deaf ears it seems as nothing ever came of it. Either they had no intention of allowing me to grow, or they had no idea how to utilize my skillset.

Flexible Work Environment

Pros

You work with some really talented individuals who believe in improving education outcomes for students.

Cons

Upper leadership give themselves promotions while people who do the work on the ground have very little to no growth opportunities. Push to "sell" work but those who sell the work do not get recognized monetarily or with well-deserved promotions. Clear favoritism from upper leadership.
