Not a good place to work anymore

Pros

You get free shift meals and the members are actually very nice and love to hear about you and your life. They provide benefits for full time employees and free golf lessons (with restrictions)

Cons

The pay is terrible and has only grown worse over the years. The shifts are long, sometimes servers will work a 12 hour day, 6 days a week because they are heavily understaffed. There is no regard for people's lives outside of the club. Management is HORRIBLE. They only have one good manager and for some reason refuse to hire a Food and Beverage Director.

Pros

Pay, pension, 401k, medical and dental, professional management, and flexible hours. I have worked in the food and beverage industry for over 20 years, at many locations. This location by far has exceeded my expectations for what I am worth. Not only do they offer flexible hours, but medical, dental, a 401k, and a pension! In any serving job you can not get all of those bonuses. The members are like family and same with the staff and management. A great place to work if you like building relationships. Management gives you a work life balance, which in this industry is hard to come by and they truly care about you.

Cons

You work for the money you earn, fast paced, and resets. But worth it for the money. It is an a la carte plus banquet business. So no matter what day it is you will be moving and grooving.
