Pros

Decent insurance and nothing else

Cons

Low pay, other factories in the area pay better. "Good ol' boy" management. Long hours. Now hiring criminals.

Pros

They consistently pay bonuses, raises (may not be very much, but it's something.) You will learn problem solving techniques and processes that will stay with you long after you've left.

Cons

The Executive team has created an atmosphere where departments turn on each other, blaming the other so they don't get "scolded" by the President and VP.

Pros

Good Company Culture - Good people, hard working and isn't extremely corporate America, its more corporate Japan Great Benefits- Considering the current situation with healthcare the benefits are great Good Place - if entry level, you will get good experience Japanese Culture- you definitely get exposure to the Japanese culture, respect for suppliers(for the most part), and loyal to its employees- they respect hard work, but within the office they still have a ways to go when it comes to promoting women, and Americans are limited on their upward mobility (especially if you do not speak Japanese) Laid Back Environment- Not too fast paced, and they wear uniforms

Cons

Low Wage- Considering the amount of manual work involved, they do not have good systems Japanese culture - Deeply rooted which has its good points as stated above, however no upward mobility, Americans can only get so far on the ladder and women are mostly NOT promoted. Some of the Japanese(mostly expats) can be distant and some of the higher ups will not speak to you or acknowledge you. Those who are from Japan stick to the cultural norms, respect people who are higher than you AND do what you are told AND the senior person is always right. Likely some of the Japanese in higher positions are similar to Americans, they have a "big head"
