its a govt job so your job is secure

Cons

its very hard to move to different positions and get a promotion. The management doesn't work with you to help you grow. There belittle its employees.

Pros

-Good benefits -Average starting pay -Gets your foot in the door for federal employment

Cons

-Upper management that believes it is appropriate to tell all of their new hires that they are expendable on the first day. -SV system does not give annual raises like the GS system -Coworkers absolutely hate being there. -HR is as incompetent as you can imagine
