Pros
- Good, decent hardworking people. - Clean facilities. - HR actually cares about you, which was refreshing.
Cons
- Complete chaos. No way shape or form organized. - Projects are always last minute. - Epicor, their ERP/MRP system, is a manual based system. Very clunky, and not user friendly. TSE had very few SME (Subject Matter Experts) dedicated to Epicor. Also, no SOP or Instruction Manuals on how to use Epicor. - High turnover at their buildings. - CCTV Cameras used as an intimidation tool. - Employees openly gossip and talk about each other. Including Management. - A ton of employee fraternizing. A lot of family work together and a lot of people dating each other. - Sink or Swim mentally so you are setup to fail. - Recently a ton of new employees at the company. Including new management. - Company spread out over 6 buildings on same street. Tedious at times to communicate because you had to either walk or use the golf cart to go to a different building. - Clerical Department's had non-skilled staff. Just warm bodies. - Distracted golf cart and forklift drivers on their phones. - Employee(s) openly using drugs in their van while on the clock. My "supervisor" never supervised. Never even delegated work to other people on that supervisor's staff. Tenured employees were overworked and stressed, while the supervisor packed boxes in a different building. Zero leadership. Fellow was previous retired and mailed it in everyday. In a span of a week, my supervisor said less than a 7 words to me, and barely spoke to me while I was training. I was given a "bible" to learn from, but this "bible" only told you how to complete as task, and no information onto why, how things were done. It could be very overwhelming to someone new to the field. Luckily, I had experience on a similar system to the one they used (Epicor). The more tenured employees were underpaid and under appreciated. They were simply forgotten about. Created tension at times while I was there. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Company has been around forever, but with high turnover, employee tension with management, and few people with the tools to help other succeed is why this place will perpetually have a revolving door.
