My TSP manager who help provided new laptop so that I can be more productive not the old slow spend kind . Kudos to the manager also give detail orientation and first class Uber experience to the facility. Kudos TSP also provide training on database and system that required. Pros

-Good opportunities for someone looking for an entry-level job into the IT field. -Company is a good size, and therefore able to build more inter-personal relationships with employees. -Family-owned

Cons

-Well below market pay. I've been around long enough that they will say this is dictated by customer contracts. While this is true to a degree, it's not near as true as the simple fact that they don't do any schedule reviews. Their reasoning behind this sounds great in theory, but ultimately leads to a fractured pay system, and employees who have no idea where they actually stand professionally, and financially. -Extremely poor communication. Even our quarterly calls with the CEO went away. As well as any kind of feedback mechanism, largely due to the fact that they didn't like the feedback they were getting.

Thanks for taking the time to provide us with your candid feedback. You hit the metaphorical nail on the head — yes, we've discussed in other reviews, we try our absolute best to be as competitive as possible with our pay and compensation, but there are times in which the pay is dictated by client bill rates — but again, we try our hardest to advocate for the best possible solution for both employee and client. On the flip side of that coin are a number of other aspects that our employees love — the benefits and 401K our Seeds to Leads program, our free training and certifications via Rockstar U, and especially the flexibility. Furthermore, to counter any pay discrepancies , several years ago we put into place a system to notify our management team of an employee who has not had a pay increase in the previous year. As a direct result, the number of employee change forms being submitted and approved last year with just under $1M in merit increases being awarded to our deserving employees. We stopped performing annual reviews years ago — the main goal in a successful performance management system is feedback, and that constant real-time feedback is far more valuable than a once-a-year short meeting that rarely, if ever, covers a year’s worth of experiences. We encourage open communication, continual feedback, formal and informal coaching, and adherence to one of our corporate values of “real conversations are welcomed.” You hit on another great point — communication. We encourage every employee to a conversation with their manager and ask them for a more regular cadence on communications — establish your expectations for them — that level of communication can only help to ensure everyone is operating on the same level. Thanks again for taking the time to provide us and the Glassdoor community with your candid feedback. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to have a conversation with your manager or reach out to Talent Management.

Thanks for taking the time to provide us and the Glassdoor community with a concise review of your time with us. It's great to hear that you found numerous positives during your tenure with us. We're constantly identifying ways to improve for the betterment of all #TSProckstars. We're sorry to hear that you felt your work schedule was demanding. Granted, some work schedules are on an on-call basis or can have non-traditional hours, but those work periods are communicated well before an offer is ever made to a potential candidate — we're not a fan of surprises. If an employee's schedule ever becomes unmanageable in any aspect, we always strongly encourage employees to have conversations with their managers — real conversations are both welcomed and encouraged here. In regards to the lack of feedback from your manager, several years ago, we did away with annual employee reviews — they're outdated and only provide a sliver of feedback respective to a year's worth of work. We know that enabling our managers to communicate much more frequently is an area we need to focus on and we're continuing to do our best to improve. We know we're not perfect, but we work hard every single day and strive to provide the best possible experience for every single one of our #TSProckstars. We seek out the best, we maintain high standards, and we reward our employees for their hard work and commitment to each and every one of our customers. Thanks for being one of our #TSProckstars — we wish you the best.
