Pros

ttec has no pros what so ever

Cons

If you are looking to work for a company that is broken in so many ways then work here, this company makes many promises when they hire you for example they promise a 1yr raise , well guess what when you reach the one ye mark that does not happen, team leads and team lead managers dont care about their employees its all about numbers and keeping the client happy, tech issues are a normal and unavoidable thing because of the platform they use witch is outdated but according to them thats what the client requires. The only benefits they offer is dental and vision and 401k but at the hourly rate that they offer you dont bother opting into the 401k you can get allot of hours and thats only because they have a high turn over rate. If you are looking to move up dont waste your time here because only the people that are part of the click will get to do so , and yes even working from home there are clicks if you have ideas or suggestions on how to improve production or work flow dont bother they wont be presented training is rushed and you wont be able to use half of the systems you are being trained on do to them not working in the training environment if you are not a fast learner and not computer savvy dont bother because tech support will know less than you in a nut shell this is a dead end job that will leave you feeling miserable .. every good review here has been persuaded or left by people that are part of the inner circle and got what they wanted

Pros

Work from home If you last long enough, you might get yourself in position for a promotion, even if a temporary one.

Cons

Pay is relatively low compared to other at home customer service jobs. Customers can drive you to the brink of insanity. Dual guidelines to follow for both TTEC and the client you are working for. Sometimes this can cause a conflict. Your TLs can change at a moment's notice, thus making any rapport building difficult. If you have any tech issues, Tier 1 support is a joke.

Pros

Nice break room, convenient location

Cons

Pay is less than own/operated offices, which is to be expected, but is also less than other branches in the same campaign doing the same job. They sell you during training on streets seemingly paved with gold, but when you're on the floor it's a different story entirely. Management do not care about people, just production. People get write ups and disciplined for being sick or even being hospitalized. In the past, the AC has failed multiple times and so have all the toilets in the building. They simply brought in porta-pottys to the parking lot, room temp water and hand sanitizers and told us to get back to work. Employees get fired for no reason, left and right and they only use fear to motivate. They are unable to provide a clear and concise unified message on what employees are required to do performance wise, leaving the hourly workers floundering in the dark trying to figure out what they are required to live up to before they are fired. Promotions are based on favoritism, not tenure or experience or even knowledge of the products. They have even bragged about using illness to weed out people for advancement, saying that being sick tomorrow will jeopardize a possible promotion months or years from now. They force you to clock out to use the restroom, and will write you up for being 30 seconds over break time, even when it is the fault of the company for using poor quality time clocks. If possible to rate a negative star on the work/life balance, I would.
