Room for Improvement

Pros

The Insurance and 401K benefits, decent break room and it's in central Las Vegas. They also provide holiday pay from day one and allow you to start gathering PTO quickly.

Cons

The requirements are changed on a near bi-weekly basis, leaving many in the dark as to what they need to do to avoid disciplinary action. By the time an employee finds out, it's too late. The metrics system that is used to "Grade" employees has numerous flaws, the big one allowing surveys to come in late, which has the potential to cause irreversible negative effects on employees who are trying to grow. Furthermore, it really does not allow for a proper representation of an employee's skills. The training is not really detailed as necessary to ensure the success of employees.

Crooked Thieves

Pros

The only pro is that you don't have to deal with them in person.

Cons

They do not pay OT as promised. As an employee, you will mostly likely find yourself having to deal with Citrix. Citrix is one of the most faulty programs TTEC has. They make you log out for any issues with Citrix and you do not get paid for it. They use horrible and overrated time keepers in the Philippines that do not code time cards correctly. They are not forthcoming with their current list of projects, benefits you qualify for, or project longevity. The leads that are used should never have been only the phones, let alone be in charge of training. Recently, they lost Allstate has a client and they have been in several lawsuits for not paying employees correctly. Avoid this company like the plague.

Pros

Co-workers, pretty lenient about workers calling in, pay if they didnt go back to $10.50 hr

Cons

They try to enforce code policy but people would have on clothes as if they were going out to the club or they would wear their pajamas, house coat and house shoes as if they were at home. The lead would not let other leads help you if you had any questions. She would rarely help if you had questions. She would not take any sup calls for you even if they were kudo calls and you would get a couple of those per day. Before I left they raised the pay to $14.00/hr and would threaten to fire you if you didnt up sale. Co-workers cursing each other out on the floor while youre on thr phone with a member. Worst call center experience for me.
