Pros

Work from home Benefits offered (but only AFTER you’re officially hired on, most jobs within TTEC are just contract instead of permanent) Discount perks PTO (IF you’re a permanent employee)

Cons

Only way to be promoted is if you kiss up to the big bosses. Hard work and recommendations don’t matter unless you insert yourself with leadership and do everything you can to get promoted. Also promotions are few and far between. No raises unless you’re promoted or if there’s a lot of pressure to increase wages. Mistakes are constantly made when it comes to pay and taxes. You barely accrue PTO with each paycheck. It takes months to have enough time to take a week off. It’s like pulling teeth to get rid of people. They’ll let atrocious workers/supervisors stay on for as long as possible. Not very LGBTQ+ friendly. HR is useless and will not believe you unless you have endless amounts of evidence, and even if you have evidence, they’ll reprimand you despite being the victim and won’t actually help. Bad managers stay in their positions for way too long and make everything 10x worse. Not flexible with scheduling. You are constantly getting verbally abused by customers over the phone and nobody does anything to improve it. You’re not allowed to disconnect at all. Trainers are worked to the bone and sometimes aren’t allowed to have time off.

Pros

Very little. As a member of the Sr. Leadership team brought in to make a significant turn around effort, it was a daily battle with the "old political guard". The company is dying with over 23% turnover annually at the corporate level. Senior leaders care about nothing but their bonus, and will intentionally initiate work to damage their peers to improve their own bonus potential.

Cons

Senior Level leaders are pure "yes men" and will sacrifice anyone and anything to insure their own bonus - I have never seen such an unethical company in my career and was grateful when I left the company. You can't change a company if your not supported. Too many old political leaders who accept kick-backs from vendors to line their own pockets.

Pros

You can ignore the three weeks of training because all they will do is go off on personal tangents in between taking a full hour to personally check everyone has the right screen up.

Cons

They will say you have 30 hours to start. You have actually have 8. They are currently being tried in a class action lawsuit for not paying people. Their programs and servers do not work. Ever.
