Pros

Remote position, I can not think of any other Pros honestly. Too much micromanaging!!!!

Cons

Very unorganized and no info given on benefits and you can not speak to a person in Human Resources, everything has to be handled by submitting a ticket or email, the trainers do not have a clue as to what they are doing! No communication and very rushed training. You will be on camera for training and some of the trainers are just rude to the employees. Also, when you ask a question, its like the trainers and managers are very vague with their answers if they even have an answer that is. The pay is not anywhere near enough! for everything they require you to do. Very disappointed. Equipment does not come on time for the training class and then you get behind because the trainers rush through everything and expect you to remember all of it. The equipment they send is in poor condition or missing all together!!! Not very professional and that is putting it nicely. The training length in the offer letter is not the same as what the actual training period ends up being!! The list goes on.

Pros

No weekend work (depending on LOB), wfh

Cons

I work for the UHC LOB serving Medicaid members. The training was not bad if you were actively listening and participating. I had a pretty good trainer. After training you go into nesting for about a week and still able to receive support from trainer on calls. Less calls during nesting. But once you get into production, the entire work environment changes and you are met with a lack of communication about processes during calls, a lack of job security (a constant reminder that you will be fired), and tremendous system issues that YOU (not the company or client systems, YOU) are blamed for. Any system issue after 30 minutes, it is unpaid. This is one company I will ABSOLUTELY stay away from!

Low pay as long as they can get away with it

Pros

Work from home, paid time off, end of year holiday

Cons

They pay some people tens of thousands less than others. They're very hush hush about salary, always saying it's confidential. When you find out you make 1/4 of what others in your department make, even though you've been there 7 years, they blame engage. Contractually they have to pay engage people less. Really, while they name millions, they try to get away with paying people pennies. They're always discouraging salary talk. That's because they don't want you to find out that after 10 years, you're making 1/4 of what they're paying a past time new hire. When you ask for time off 12 months in advance it should be granted. People shouldn't have to move their vacations to fit your poor staffing schedule.
