Pros

Taco Bell is diverse with people from all walks of life. Can be a positive experience for teens

Cons

Taco Bell use to be a great place to work. Now things change as the wind blows. Every layer of local management is receiving the ultimatum.....'do better or we have three people to take your place. The company is only offering store level management a hit or miss type raise. If you hit the target at your end of year performance appraisal you get a meager $800 raise. Starting salaries have also became pathetic. Taco Bell would appear to be hiring for quantity and not for quality, Raises and salaries for hourly employees are also a joke.

Pros

Fun job if you like things to be fast past, crew and manager get along well, management works well with your schedule if you need certain times or days off.

Cons

Night shifts usually have poor crew members. Promotions are rare for getting into salary management as they tend to hire outside of the company. You receive no bonus for your quarterly numbers.

Pros

I moved up through the ranks in the store very very quickly and became an RGM when some kids are still in High School. I was very happy about that. Salary is ok when you work for a corporate run store but really bad for most Franchise run stores. Its ridiculous when you run a Million dollar plus business and make 32k a year.

Cons

I have worked at Taco Bell for nearly 10 years and I hear all the time about how its possible to move up into a Corporate job. However, it rarely happens. They continue to hire people in above store and restaurant support positions whom have NEVER worked a day in there lives inside ANY restaurant. They went to college, graduated and get a pretty dang good job. While people can put in 20 years and never get there. Oh, by the way I worked 50 hours a week while going to school to get my degree and I'm still stuck in a store. BS, I just can't bring myself to kiss ass and play politics.
