Pros

Working at Taiho Oncology, Inc. has been one of the more rewarding experiences of my career. I am supported by a team that truly values collaboration, innovation, and personal growth. The leadership is approachable, and they genuinely care about employee well-being and development. What sets this company apart is its strong culture of people first, trust and empowerment. I’ve been given the freedom to take initiative, contribute ideas, and make meaningful decisions in my role. The opportunities for learning are abundant, and I’ve grown both professionally and personally during my time here. The company also prioritizes work-life balance, offering flexible schedules and wellness programs. It’s refreshing to be part of an organization that not only talks about values but lives them every day. I’m proud to be part of a company making a positive impact on its industry and community. I look forward to continuing my journey here and contributing to our shared success. The benefits are impressive. The office space is thoughtfully laid out and has a beautiful design, making it a pleasant place to work.

Cons

The levels of compensation do not necessarily commensurate with qualifications and experience. Travel to the office has become more difficult and longer over the years; not that the company can do anything about the New Jersey road infrastructure.

Pros

The company has good health benefits, a good 401K match with instant vesting and always pays its bills on time.

Cons

HOWEVER, the culture is very toxic and there is no trust between teams or leaders. They backstab each other at every opportunity, and it creates a pretty unstable working environment. Hard to get anything done when no one wants to listen to what you have to say, and management is bickering over small issues and such petty arguments and blame are thrown around. The rule is keep your head down and don’t get hit by all the stuff being thrown over you. The parent company is completely oblivious and really doesn’t care about its US employees as long as they are bamboozled into thinking the management is doing something. After a few years, the money/benefits just weren’t worth it.

Pros

good pipeline for scientific discussion. Company does have name recognition for older products. Some excitement about pipeline but, clinical development not friendly to medical affairs.

Cons

Medical Affairs Leadership high turnover rate. Culture and tone not positive. Need data to lead scientific discussion. Advancement limited to field. Doesn't vaule remote employees. Too much group think. Cronism, favortism, nepotism!!!
