Finance management is awesome, and supportive.

Cons

Executive level is completely disconnected. No upward movement unless you are in courts and corrections or clinical. Lack of support in certain areas.

Opportunities! Talbert House has a vast array of social services in Southwest Ohio which allows for employees to gain experience in serving all aspects of an individual’s needs. The benefits are incredible, dental, vision, and health are affordable and comprehensive. Flexible schedules, leadership truly cares about work life balance.

Cons

The needs of our communities are great and sometimes it is challenging to serve the needs of all.

We place great value on providing career opportunities to our employees here at the agency at every level. Talbert House offers entry-level opportunity as well as life-long careers. Our Institute for Training and Development is a wonderful demonstration of our commitment to building a culture of learning and growth for every employee. It offers many resources for free training to our team, ranging from clinical skills, cultural competence, leadership development, supervisor roundtable discussions, clinical supervision for all practitioners, CDCA licensure, and many other areas for staff in all positions. We make internal promotions a priority, and also offer internships, tuition reimbursement, college scholarships and are a tuition discount partner with University of Cincinnati.
