      excellent pay for my level great co-workers

      company wants to appeal to every age so styles become old & predictable season after season every time I have scheduled days/vacation off my DM would come up with some reason to cancel it-I was always giving up my time only for it to go unappreciated! DM wants only her ideas-doesn't listen to anyone who doesn't agree with her. producing results is not rewarded-individual thinking is stifled payroll should be based on results not given to the highly visible stores first

      Employee discounts is the best. Its a great place to work if you are with the right store and management team.

      Cons

      Company is changing drastically cutting payroll IT'S A MUST with that been said cutting hours to associates and even assistant managers. very scary and uncertain environment to work for. Upper Management completely out of touch. DM has zero tolerance for constructive feedback and shows no respect and recognition towards assistant manager who are an asset to a store team. Corporate Management recruiting new management from unrelated brands therefore they are clueless about WHAT TALBOTS WAS and it should be Loyalty for their employees IS ZERO . I FEAR THIS CURRENT TEAM WILL BE THE END OF THIS BEAUTIFUL BRAND
