      Pros

      Great upbeat people to work for and to work with, that allows time off when needed. Understanding display of retail. Helping people in identifing their needs and wants and achieving that goal. Great insentives on ipt, new customers, and new clothing

      shop-lifters, spending all your paycheck there. sale cleaning before or after closing

      Pros

      It is wonderful working for a retailer who is so customer centered. I enjoy being responsible to provided excellet customer service. Helping women dress better and feel better about themselves is very rewarding. Associate discounts are overall very good (see cons).

      Cons

      Associate discounts are not consistent. If you don't use a Talbots credit card or you do not receive the preferred associate discount. Also, the discount is even less if ordering on line without a Talbots charge. Senior management is still struggling to get it right. Reuse of same pattern just chaning the fabric.
