      Some much potential, but no leadership, no focus, Heads of business do not know what the customer wants.

      Pros

      Good strong core team at management level and below. Very little leadership at director and above. It is sad to say there is nothing to view as a "Pro" about Talbots other than its heritage.

      Poor communication, no focus, no people development plan, no training, no clue who its target customer is or wants

      Discount and peers are great

      Cons

      Horrible upper management! No room for growth or promotions. District Manager is COMPLETELY unprofessional, bordering on offensive. Do not work for this company. This company is only headed for bankruptcy with management this horrible.

      Pros

      The company pays well and has good benefits for full time employees. Team worked well together. Encouraged to do the best for each customer which makes working in customer service very pleasant..

      Cons

      Senior management doesn't seem to know how to take care of business, resulting in poor performance and an unstable company. Hundreds of stores closing, including the one I worked at, resulting in loss of very talented associates.
