Pros

I started with Talis 4 years ago, with just a few years experience in the Health IT sector. In the time since, I've seen the company have its share of ups and downs as it found its niche in the market. We started with just a few small hospital customers, but wow! Things have changed. Multiple partnerships with large national firms now provide steady streams of business, and this is just the beginning. There's a hell of a lot more growing to do and we continue to add great talent to the team. Personally, joining Talis in the early stages, I've gotten exposure to every facet of the organization, and my professional growth has been on overdrive as we keep scaling up. Combine this with an obsessive "patients first" mentality, and I consider myself fortunate--and proud work here.

Cons

So much to do, so little time. We've got brilliant folks managing our innovation and product strategy, we just can't implement those visions fast enough. The culture is demanding. One of our operating principles is "focus on accomplishments", meaning you can put in all the effort in the world, but success doesn't come because you tried real hard. Success comes with accomplishment, and that's what is expected. It is demanded from everyone, top to bottom.
