Pros

The company gets all the insurance information processed, and gives a steady stream of clients coming in. You can choose generally what type of clients you would like to work with. There's great support for IT problems and all billing. You just show up, provide therapy, and complete your notes.

Cons

There are no plans for pay raises for therapists at all, instead they make you rely on an incentive bonus, but basically you're just taking on extra patients for a little bonus, which is easily negated if there are too many holidays, vacation or pto days taken that month.

Pros

The mission is admirable Objectively making psychiatry more accessible work/life balance is good individual contributors and middle management are mostly incredible people

Cons

Myopic focus on NYC means little impact elsewhere Executive leadership either lies to each other, the board, or just all of the corporate staff Direction changes are frequent and based on hunches, hopes, and dreams There's a reason average employee stay is under 1 year -- and its not because they're growing (its because they keep laying people off) Cannot NOT recommend this company enough if you value personal stability
