      Not what you think – failing big

      Pros

      100% remote. Good pay if you can keep your spot. Strong values on paper, not in practice.

      Cons

      Toxic leadership and zero empathy from the CEO. People are treated like numbers on a spreadsheet. Decisions are made carelessly, often costing employees their jobs and stability. The company constantly repositions and makes desperate moves to stay afloat, cutting great people along the way. Benefits are just as poor: 2% 401(k) match and expensive health coverage. Ask why the company downsized from 80+ to their current head count.

      Tough model, a lot of wanky clients, top heavy organization, rough model with portfolio companies, big hierarchy for such a small company

      I worked with great, smart people.

      Cons

      I wouldn't actually call this a marketing agency and there weren't clear areas of expertise, but that was how it was pitched to me through the interview process. I was working an insane amount of hours and felt like there was no help or way to appeal the distribution of work. Also very unclear growth paths.
