Pros

Tallwave does a tremendous job of making an environment where its employees know they can grow and make mistakes (provided we learn from them!). There are a myriad of *extra* things that Tallwave provides its employees so that our work is enrichening and full of meaning. Examples include the Diversity, Equality & Inclusion task force , Lunch & Learns, access to trainings and access to leadership for mentorship opportunities / talks. During these "unprecedented times", Tallwave has been doing all that they can to support its employees, including those who are juggling not just work but also virtual schooling for their children. They are one of the most supportive and caring companies I've had the pleasure to work for.

Cons

We've got that start up energy, drive, and hunger and the outcome is we are doing some amazing things. However, things may feel disjointed or like you are constantly "drinking from the fire hose." This may be frustrating for some folks and invigorating to others. The latter group, I suspect, has figured how to lean in to the "uncomfortable unknown," or ambiguity, and bring their own sense of accountability and follow through .

Pros

Everyone works "with" you making the unified vision the north star. Different departments deliver different types of work for clients as well as relaying that info to each team. The company could not be more transparent. Everything about the company, goals, vision, trajectory, finances are not only openly available, but are a mandated learning/educational meeting, regularly. You are always in the know. Peer review and praise is highly encouraged as well as rewarded. Leadership is always learning, participating and sharing in an open forum, where feedback is sought to INCLUDE in the decision making process. Tallwave is a highly inclusive organization that encourages a culture of personal growth, because they know that personal growth equals company growth. It's the people at this company that are their most valued possession.

Cons

There really aren't any negatives, because any that arise are nipped in the bud as they turn up. So, while I am sure there are some, they are short lived at best.

Pros

amazing people and culture. leadership is fully involved in culture events as well, creating less of a divide and adding to the open-door policy that is in place. "take it as you need it" (aka unlimited) PTO and flexible work hours. Also very open to employees working from home if needed. Leadership empowers employees to reach beyond their job description to learn and grow within any department, even if that means growing outside of Tallwave.

Cons

some recent leadership changes, but have all been for the best. can be long work days/weeks when large projects come up, but there's always a team behind you to help carry it over the finish line.
