Pros

Flexible for seasonal employees, positive outlook, it's the fans that make the job amazing.

Cons

Politics. 2 hour gates in weekends, constantly having to hear stadium debate when the fans love the Trop.

Pros

The Rays are a great organization that has treated me well from day one. Solid culture where everyone works hard to do their part and build a lasting presence (on and off the field) in St. Pete. Despite its small market stature, the Rays don’t shirk their status and importance to the community. The Rays provide opportunities to volunteer locally, and it is nice work for an organization that is outspoken and progressive.

Cons

Work life balance can be a bit strained, but that's one of the sacrifices for working in sports.
