Pros
1. They have several good quality projects with good clients. 2. As an engineer you get the big picture of a project and the intention behind the different product features. 3. Ample time is spent on the design and architecture of a system and the whole team is a part of these discussions. Engineers are generally not treated as code-monkeys who will just do as they are told. 4. Higher level management (Directors) is technically sound. They can translate a business problem to an engineering problem and effectively break it down for the team. 5. Truly flat system where you can walk up to anyone to discuss things that bother you. 6. Free food, work from home facility, good office. 7. They don't cut corners on the promised CTC and the in-hand salary turns out pretty good.
Cons
1. Project Managers are not technical and they cannot truly understand the work being done or set realistic deadlines for tasks. 2. Lack of process in on-boarding of new employees. There can be better skill-gap assessment and mentoring/guidance to bridge the gap. This will make the transition to on-going projects smoother.
