But Target is not cutting-edge in enabling employees to work reasonable hours. Bungled rollouts of a new Target.com website and expansion to Canada certainly contributed to this, and former CEO Gregg Steinhafel certainly deserves discredit for this. Perhaps the new CEO, an external hire who arrived in August 2014, can make progress on this.
