Pros

I worked as a hardlines team member, then Instocks, then receiving/reverse logistics. Reverse logistics is the only role I would ever consider returning to, as it had set hours every week with weekends off. Time on the salesfloor was limited and the work on the dock was sometimes challenging but rewarding.

Cons

If your management doesn't keep a fully trained backup for you, it can be very stressful keeping up with the workload depending on the season. I frequently tackled it all by myself while having HR cut my hours down to 38 (instead of the needed 40) for no reason. It's also a very physical position and you will need to be on your feet lifting and hauling pallets all day long.
