Pros

The team members and team development as well as having a highly interactive work day not stuck in a cubicle.

Cons

The expectations are overbearing and unless you want to work 60+ hours a week are relatively unattainable. It is highly political as so many places are and difficult to get promoted unless someone takes interest in you early on or someone is on your side at the district level.

Pros

Benefits were incredible, as well as the salary. As a Store Team Leader, I was able to create an energetic and exciting culture within my store. On a day-to-day basis, it is a fun place to work.

Cons

Target values procedure over efficiency and process over people. Leadership is not valued, and only those that can strictly follow the "Target Way" will find a career path open to them. Innovation and problem solving are frowned upon, and only Best Practices can be used - even if they are inefficient and even if they do not solve the issue. The company would rather create dissatisfied customers than empower team members to make decisions (this is true, check the policies).
