Pros

You work with a team; everyone, in my store at least, is like one big family. So we can all be miserable at work together, but we can have fun with it- even the store manager and ETLs. You get good benefits, a raise every 6 months (or, you're supposed to), and most of the time you get rewarded for the good things you do that are noticed by another team member/higher up by writing/giving out "great team cards." Also, more often than not, there's food in the break room. Sometimes they'll cater for us (Moes, Grilled Cheese Truck, DiAngelo's, Pizza, etc.) which is just awesome. Target also has flexible scheduling if you are a student going to college or you're sick, etc.

Cons

They screw us over a lot with our hours by fluctuating them and favoring people who "work better" more, which is unfair to other co-workers. And, obviously, we don't get paid enough for the amount of BS we deal with; you definitely cannot live off of that pay. The guests can be something, sometimes; But I guess that's just something you have to deal with at any given retail store. There's also not much room to move up internally in the store unless you have some type of college degree.
