A failing Canadian launch means a terrible work environment

Pros

They at least try to be HR friendly...meaning breaks are encouraged, sick days (unless excessive) are not penalized. The idea behind the culture would be great if it was at all genuine.

Cons

Constantly cut hours. They will give you 4-8 hours a week yet discourage getting another job because they want Target to be your first priority. Understaffed, yet they expect the same "amazing guest service" as if we were adequately staffed. They rush to cross-train people so they can work multiple sections of the store at once, even though they have barely shown them how to work these new areas.

Salary is only main constraint. It is one of the company enable us to concentrate on our personal life. Sometimes it makes us lazy as there is not much work pressure and no learning opportunities in some team
