Pros

Very flexible with work hours and with taking time off. If you need to pick up an extra shift, the store is big enough that you can almost always get some extra money. The management at my store was actually really fair and overall created a good work environment.

Cons

You have to keep a frenetic pace the grand majority of the time, so it can really kill your body and mind after your shift is over. Combined with the near-minimum wage, a lot of good employees eventually quit and use the experience to work at Kohl's.

Pros

Benefits. Point blank and simple. Most Target employees will tell you that the reason that they stay at Target is because of the Medical, Dental, and Eye insurance and the 401k

Cons

If target isn't making its quota on sales then its time to look for a second job because you will not have enough hours to support yourself on your own.
