      Pros

      Easy to move around departments. It is also easy to move to other stores in the area if you ever need to move.

      Cons

      Pay could be better. Would like to work more hours but they rather hire new people than give the hours to people currently employeed.

      Discount every team member gets and needs a discount now days, could be higher, but at least it's something. At most times your team lead will work with you

      Cons

      If you have a degree in "automotive repair". you become ETL in chage of groceries and food production,even if you dont know heath standards around food let alone the difference between cotto salami and hard salami

      Pros

      Target is most competitive in Retail for compensation. The work expected is demanding but if your Store Team Leader is competent and a people person, the vibe of the building can be fun. I know because in my time, I've had a good leader and then a inept leader. You can voice where you want your career path to go. They will provide training and support to get you there.

      Cons

      You must have a college degree to make it to Executive Team Leader in a building. If you are a Team Leader looking for a promotion to Executive Team Leader, it will NOT happen unless you are getting your 4 year college accredited degree. Target now has this strict guideline of College Degree or no promotion to be an Executive Leader in the building or anything above that.
