Pros

Great experience running a MM dollar operation. Must think critically two and three steps in advance if you want to be an effective leader. If you have what it takes and can embrace the culture Target promotes then you will do well.

Cons

Work life balance. Within Stores work weekends and nights. Although better than most retailers you still do not have a 9-5 job. Just part of Retail.

Pros

Some flexibity in schedule but not much Discount is ok. Covers the tax and a little more.

Cons

Poor worklife balance. Managers don't listen and do whatever they feel is neccesary (e.g. scheduling on you days that you are not available without your consent) Poor promotion, seems like you have to know somebody instead of based on performance Way too much favortism going on Harassing guests to open red card and to buy extended warranties Some nasty lying customers
