Pros

Easy job. Pay is somewhat still competitive. Benefits are most likely the best rason to stay with this company. Great coverage/minimal costs. If you're planning a family, look no further.

Cons

Checklists galore. Little time is spent anymore on truly developing and correcting patterns of behavior. Little investment in teams. Abundant favoritism. DTL was awful at "maximizing relationships"

Pros

Good pay/benefits/ stable employment/ 2 weeks vacation time, fast-paced atmosphere. Many opportunities to transfer to other stores/ lateral moves to get a diverse workplace feel

Cons

The hours are supposed to be 50 per week. You never work that. Sometimes you will stay overnight just recovering the store, your team is exhausted after a close. Executives are paid well but given all the fault of an operationally un-sound store.

Pros

Internship program is great. They make sure you have a good sense of the company and always provide you feedback so you can grow professionally.

Cons

promotions seem very arbitrary. Work is a bit mundane, and many days will be spent just sitting on the computer making excel sheets.
