Pros

Usually the actual coworkers are kind and make the job worth it.

Cons

Like most other big corporations, they teach management to not treat employees like people. You are just a name on a schedule, a body filling a spot to meet metrics. If you are someone who never gets sick or injured then you should be well liked. Need an accommodation, get the flu, have a family emergency? You will be pulled aside and lectured and made to feel bad that you dare exist outside Target. They are also switching to a point system I believe this month, July 2026, and I have yet to have it explained beyond get 12 points in a year, and you're fired. I have asked what happens if we use our earned sick time and was give no real answer besides they're working on it. It was implied that since the points last for a year, it is being back dated for this past year, and when asked for clarification I was told again, its being worked on. So it's possible that people may get fired for being sick months ago. I have yet to be given a real answer on the policy. Also the employee discount only being able to be used with cash, gift card, or a red card is the dumbest rule for an employee discount I have ever encountered.
