Pros

Being able to interact with guest from all walks of life was great. It was a great way for me to sharpen my people skills.

Cons

I was fired because I could not get a red card. They say as a cashier it's your responsibility to make sure everyone that comes through your lane knows about the red card they don't explicitly say you have to get a red card but you do and if you don't after 30 days of being there they let you go. A week before I was fired, I reported a team leader who made working there unbearable and I was fired by the exact person I reported.

Pros

The management was great at motivating the workers. People worked together as part of a team.

Cons

Retail is exhausting in general, no matter the company. Target is a good place to start in retail, however, it wasn't for me.

Cons

There weren't any cons in this job. I did what I expected to do before I was hired.
