- Recruit out of universities they consult in Engineering for all big companies but they actually work in Engineering IT - Most of the people recruited out of school are placed in support IT work - Management doesn't listen to individual needs and play favorites - Most of the communication on projects is done in Hindi, so if you don't speak Hindi, expect to have teach yourself everything - Work every single holiday and odd days (from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday) - Unprofessional when it comes to employee privacy - Most will work an odd shift (from 1 PM to 9 PM) so your day is pretty much ruined and you are working 10-12 hours a day - Management don't discuss your career opportunities or what you're looking for - Management ignore your skills and place you on projects that they need bodies on; not where you can improve and refine your skills - They will relocate you all over the country without placing you in the region that you are requesting or claimed during the interview that they will place you in. - Overall if you are contemplating multiple offers and you have an offer from TCS, strongly think about it before taking it because you will not be able to gain relevant engineering experience
