Pros

Tavant used to be a great place to work earlier. Had good technical leadership. Had transparency at the senior management level. Had easy access to the senior management.

Cons

- many of the old senior folks have left the company - not very keen on getting new businesses - decision making is always limited to a core group, without considering common/general wishes

Cons

I had recently left tavant and i had been working there for some time. I feel it isa setback in my career. You would be asked to work any number of days at any time and would't have an option to say NO to it. Most of the projects have too much work pressure. Managers simply accept the estimate from clients and put a lot of pressure on the development team. No time to breath!! Sometimes you have to request your manager to take off during weekends. Also i feel there is no job security nowdays because many people were sent to home after giving 1-2months notice period even if they had performed up to the mark. If someone spends 2-3months on bench, then the timer starts immediately to go home and they may have to look after for a job change. In order to get ahead and not be laid off, you will need to sacrifice your personal life in order to put the hours in that the job will demand. HR is there just to collect your experience cerificates and file it for records. There is no acutal authority given for HR team. They just listen what managers say. HR dont even conduct exit interviews for many people and they dont even collect personal ids to send form16/further communication for resigned employees. HR team has to reduce conducting unnecessary events which spoils and eats employee's valuable time. Tavant management must have a look in to this.
