Pros

I got along quite well with most all the employees. There is a decent effort to try and make the monotonous sales experience more manageable. If you're into energy drinks, caffeine, nicotene, and/or smelling salts they'll provide that for you too! Anything to keep your energy going...

Cons

Working at TaxRise has been a disappointing experience to say the least. The term "revolving door" doesn't even begin to capture the high turnover and lack of job security here. Employees are constantly coming and going, making it difficult to form any sense of camaraderie or team cohesion. Mistakes, no matter how minor, are not tolerated. Rather than using errors as teachable moments, they are grounds for immediate termination. This creates a culture of fear that stifles creativity and hinders performance. The management team only adds to the stress. Some of the higher-ups seem more interested in flexing their authority than in fostering a healthy work environment. The pervasive feeling is that you're constantly under surveillance, both in what you say and what you do. It's as if you're walking on eggshells every moment you're on the clock. In summary, if you're looking for a stable job where you can grow professionally and personally, TaxRise likely isn't the place for you.

Pros

Nice office? Some nice people work there because they are still believing the lies.

Cons

Everything’s else, no work life balance, they expect you to work ALL day every day 50+ hours a week for crappy money. They spam people text messages to get leads so all you do it take inbound calls with people who cuss you out and call you terrible names, they play offensive rap music all day long no matter now many times you ask them to change it, the guys managing are a joke with no real experience. If you take a break or a lunch you are looked down upon. They promise bonuses and incentives that they rarely ever follow through with and are just crappy people to work for. They will chew you up and spit you out. They actually like the high turnover so they don’t have to pay people commission on their pipelines. They are greedy people with no values. STAY AWAY.

Pros

Free, lunch on Fridays. That’s it.

Cons

I’m going to start off by saying they ask employees to write a positive review. So all of these “positive” reviews are pretty much paid Lol! So don’t believe them. From the sales department to case managers, they treat us like no one. Your desk can easily be replaced and we’ve been told that to our faces. There are changes every week they don’t know what they are doing or want. The amount of turnover is insane!!!! They really don’t care about you and they hire management that has zero experience in tax relief. They also hire trainers who don’t know debt lol but they expect them to train you. If you forget a line in the script or don’t sound excited with a high pitch voice they’ll fire you. Also the pay here sucks!!!
