      Management at The Occasions Group is highly respectable, reaches out to employees to openly listen to ideas, and is effective at growing the business to create long term security for employees. Lots of great people throughout the corporation.

      Cons

      Pay can start out very low and take years to become competitive with comparable positions.

      Pros

      There are many opportunities within all of the Taylor Companies if your're in the right field. You can generally move from one company to the other since they like to hire from within.

      Cons

      Technology is really outdated and it seems to take forever to get anything done because of so many old policies. The culture is outdated since the workforce tends to be older.

      Good folks at the employee level

      Cons

      Management cares about bottom line only. It'd be one thing if they actually operated that way, but they position themselves with a midwest "aw shucks" nice guy grin and espouse values like honesty, integrity, employee-centric, family friendly, etc, but its all lip service. These guys will smile to your face while stabbing you in the back. Also worth noting that they've doubled down on a dying industry, and initiatives to become more digital, leverage emerging tech, etc are too little too late, and still tied to the print dinosaur.
