Pros

Fellow employees were great to work with. Time off was easy to attain. Immediate manager was pleasant to work with. Opportunity to do several responsibilities within my role. Casual work environment.

Cons

Out of state upper management clueless on how to run retail catalog business. Long hours, most weekends. Not very good technology upgrades. Poor understanding of cross merchandising and cataloging. Poor communication from departmental managers down to departmental employees.

Steady work if it's there. Decent benefits. Plenty of free parking with lots of empty spaces out there. Some opportunity for advancement over time if you will kiss rear ends and absorb all amounts of abuse.

Cons

Company will straight up lie to everyone's face about what is going on or what is going to happen. Says one thing one week and does something else next week. Local management made to look very bad as they have to puppet - out whatever corporate tells them to do. Very unequal treatment of employees over same-issues....depends on who you are. Spotty recognition of innovations offered and implemented.

Management expects employees to drop everything in your life to work overtime, if you can't every time then you're told they can find someone to take your place that will.There is no such thing as confidentiality there, They promote being a team player but only listen to the leaders they choose.If you are friends with the supervisors you get treated much better and get by with things others do not. So unless you happen to be friends with someone in management, I would STAY AWAY from this company.
