      Great Leadership Team, Flexible to Family Needs, Cutting Edge / Industry Leading Technology and Data, Incredible Growth Opportunities. This is an incredible place to work. Bring a Great Attitude and Strong Work Ethic and you'll fit right in.

      Cons

      Retirement Plan could be better. There is a free Financial Advice Service, but no matching.

      Great place to start your career

      Pros

      Team Velocity is an ideal place to start right out of college. The pay is low for the area, but the opportunities to grow and learn as a young professional are plentiful. Velocity consistently tries to stay ahead in the digital game and isn't afraid to invest in new technology. The people are amazing. I made a lot of great friends and mentors during my time with the company. Some office perks, like Beer Fridays, free coffee and snacks, company outings, holiday party.

      Cons

      Turnover is high. With minimal annual pay raises and little opportunity for advancement in some departments, don't expect to stay beyond 1-2 years. As others have mentioned, there are some people in leadership positions that shouldn't be there, due to company tenure. Work-life balance can be tough in some departments; it largely depends on your manager, and you really don't get a say otherwise. WFH options severely limited, and commuting to the office from anywhere east of Tyson's is a nightmare.

After much research and years in the industry, we feel we fairly compensate all of our employees and we offer loads of benefits from a fair salary to healthcare coverage and fun social events. In addition, we offer a flexible work schedule to those who we feel are responsible enough to work without supervision. As far as opportunities for advancement go, the ad world is a competitive one. At Team Velocity, we promote individuals based on stellar performance rather than tenure, and we are proud to be able to offer management opportunities to best person for the job, regardless of how long they have been with the company. We apologize you were uphappy with your pay and lack of career progression and certainly wish you the best with your future career.

      Team Velocity Marketing- Positive company with a great potential

      Pros

      -Great Company to start at and grow - Positive Work Environment - Decent Benefits - Excellent culture Team Velocity is a great place to work and everyone really gets along with each other like a family. There is a lot of positivity around the office and the office itself is very comfortable. You have to work hard in this fast paced company because you deal with very demanding clients but the payoff is rewarding. There is a lot of room for growth and with that comes more money. If you stay for more than a year, this job can easily become a career.

      Cons

      - No 401k Matching - Fast paced and high expectations - Starting Salary is a little low for the work put in. If you're not the type of person who can handle a heavy workload, you will not fit in at Team Velocity. It is not a typical 9-5 job but the job is manageable. Most of working at Team Velocity is being proactive instead of reactive. You can fall behind quick and that can make work stressful but from my experience as long as you stay on task, you'll be able to not be too stressed out and enjoy work on a daily basis. There is no 401k matching but apparently that is coming down the stretch. Given the heavy workload, the pay is a little lower than expected living in the DC/Metro area but not so much so that it's unreasonable. Also, you can grow and make more money down the line.
